I've been looking for a reference by Yogani to practicing Yoni Mudra during SBP, rather than after Samyama, but haven't been able to find the lesson or post. Does anyone here remember this, and can they point me in the right direction, please?

PS Had a wonderful meditation session after reviewing a number of the lessons. Must try that more often!

Hi CarsonZi,

Yes thanks, this is what I was looking for. I think Yogani may have also mentioned combining the two practices in a more recent post, but I couldn't locate it.

Thanks again.

Namaste,

Where can I find the lesson introducing Yoni Mudra after Samyama practice (rather than in between spinal breathing and deep meditation)?

Thank you!!

PS:
Lesson 91 (http://aypsite.org/91.html):
quote:
It will be performed at the end of spinal breathing and before meditation. Right in-between those two well established practices.

While in lesson 385 (http://www.aypsite.org/385.html) Yoni Mudra is placed after Deep Meditation and Core Samyama:

quote:

Asanas (10 minutes – learned sometime after deep meditation and spinal breathing)
Spinal Breathing Pranayama (10 minutes – learned second, after deep meditation)
Chin Pump (2-3 minutes – learned sometime after spinal breathing)
Spinal Bastrika (2-3 minutes – learned sometime after spinal breathing)
Deep Meditation (20 minutes – learned first)
Core Samyama (10 minutes – learned after deep meditation and spinal breathing, when abiding inner silence is recognized)
Yoni Mudra (2-3 minutes – learned sometime after spinal breathing)
Cosmic Samyama (5 minutes – learned sometime after core samyama)
Rest (5 minutes or more – included at the end of all sittings)

Hi Ruben:

Yoni mudra can be practiced either before or after meditation and samyama. In the lessons, it is first instructed to be done before meditation. When chin pump is added, yoni mudra can be shifted to be after meditation and samyama to avoid doing too much energetic practice before meditation. It is the practitioner's choice. Do what works best for you.

Note: There is also the alternative "yoni spinal breathing" practice referred to in CarsonZi's post above.

All the best!
