I am a newbie in AYP Deep Meditation path. After sitting relaxed in the meditation posture, do I need to mentally affirm the mantra 'I am' continuously, or do it in intervals of few minutes? If anyone here kindly explain it in bit detailed way, it will be very helpful for my practice. Thanks in advance.

welcome sandip
the goal of repeating the I AM mantra is for the vibrations that it creates and NOT the meaning...therefore you just mentally repeat ...you do NOT affirm it...you feel its resonance..
so I am is more AYAM....see?
a mantra should be repeated during all the DM sitting session...and not in intervals of few minutes..
off course this is not possible immediately...since thoughts will be coming and thoughts will be going...so whenever you notice that you are not repeating the mantra just go back to it ...keep on doing that...contiuous process through out all the DM session
best of luck
