Just recently made an almost imperceptible change to my pranayama spinal breathing which had a dramatically positive impact.
When constricting the throat on the exhale, I was making quite a strong constriction. It really took quite a while to breathe out, and I could feel the constriction was tight.
I loosened up. Now I make a barely perceptible (but still audible with the hissing sound) constriction, not quite so tight, much easier to breathe out, but remarkably more effective. the hissing sound is much lighter and not so intense.
Seeing the spinal nerve is much easier and smoother now, it is kind of there in my mind without me needing to TRY and visualise it. The pranayama is much more calming.
