Okay, I just did the I AM meditation for the first time. Once I finished I read the Q&A about avoiding leading with the breath. Oops. I'll do that tomorrow morning
Here's a question it didn't address. What about jaw movement? I found myself essentially "saying" the mantra physically in my mouth. Should I avoid that too? Should I basically entirely "hear" the mantra in my mind, completely separately from my physical body in every way?
That's right, just hear it inside, and keep returning to that. Start out with it inside, and if your jaws start moving with it on their own, nothing to worry about. Just keep favoring the mantra, and as you continue the practice it will naturally be more and more inward/inside.
