I watched second part of "Into the Universe - The Story of Everything by Stephen Hawking" on Discovery channel yesterday.

http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=e...ything&meta=

I was really surprised at his narration on Bigbang and creation of Universe. It matched with the verses of Vedas I posted a few months ago: http://www.aypsite.org/forum/topic....OPIC_ID=7889

There was neither universe nor space before creation
Neither the unmoving vast ocean existed

That was the Hiranyagarbha womb ever present before all things came
That is the great lord of all the elements
That is the presence through which the land and the skies materialize

The skies are lit with its strength
The earth is established with greenery and prosperity
Heavens and Sun are also established

It materialized fire in its womb to give birth
There was water here and there and up and below
Out of which only life awoke

With ocean/water I guess the Vedas meant Dark energy/matter.

The Hiranyagarbha (golden womb) must be the collective mass before it went Bigbang.

Its just amazing!!!

But the only thing that is missing from Stephen's great work (but not the Vedas) is this:

Om

Here is the official link to the program:

Episode 3: Into the Universe (The Story of Everything)
http://dsc.discovery.com/videos/ste...-everything/

But its a brief version. The full version is about 1:26 hours long.

So if you can order a DVD/BluRay of it, you should do it. It would probably be the best 1:26 hours of your life.
