Hello awesome people

I have been practicing self inquiry akin to asking myself who am I, this usually leads to me trying to divorce sense of self from what I can observe and gradually gets subtler until I am searching inside for characters, or some limitation I am placing on myself.

As I go deeper I feel as though I have withdrawn into my spine and it feels like love is pouring into me from 'all that is' and thereby stimulating my heart chakra.

Also as the layers of limitation are observed and I begin to feel I am witnessing them rather then being identified with them I feel a sense of expansion in my crown chakra. Just wondering if anyone has experienced something similar and self pacing issues this may bring up .

ps. just though I would introduce myself, I choose Jamuna for my user name because I love the sound of it but my actual name is Narayana.

Much love
Narayana/Jamuna

Hi Jamuna/ Narayana,

Welcome to the forum.

Yes, self-inquiry practice can have a profound effect on the energy body and the chakras, as it takes us deep within ourselves. It may or may not be a problem for you depending on the state of purification of your nervous system. If you are getting any uncomfortable symptoms as a result of your self-inquiry practice then you would do well to self-pace accordingly.
