Hello everyone. I have been practicing with pranayama, spinal breathing, and just started solar centering, as I felt it was a good addition and I feel that I am ready for it.
Since starting solar centering, I have noted twitching and jerk like movements throughout my body while practicing. This addition has helped my DM, and I go very deep in the calmness of it all.
Does anybody know what this means, if anything?
Thanks, nirmal |

Hi nirmal
I think this means that kundalini energy is flowing through the nerves (and nadis), and when its path is obstucted somwhere it just pushes through and flushes the obstuction out, and this is creating the twiching. It can also happen in many other ways like certain thoughts, automatic yoga, heat, cold, itching and many other kinds of releases.
Nothing to worry about, it's natural on the path and after the obstruction is flushed out your free of one more cause of suffering.
As Yogani says "Good things are happening!!"

Hi nirmal,
I don't know for sure obviously, but I have always suspected that twitching in meditation or pranayama could also be the releasing of nervous energy. |
