9.25 am
Sitting in the the Bagel Factory in Dundrum Shopping Centre,
sipping a coffee
Not knowing anything
Not trying to know anything
Not caring whether I know anything

A knowing then creeps in: it says
But somehow I know today's work will get done
and I won't get the sack,
that some other force will move me and things will work out.

What security I give myself,
with fairytale dellusions like this
Not knowing is not knowing.

Coffee cup empty
Moving through the matrix of mind constructions
which grope into past and future
Already planning the next job

The assumption is: the universe will still exist in 2 minutes time.
Let's play the game and laugh
And sooth my scary mind with the reality of not knowing anything.
Oh the radical deep intimacy,
the naked open vulnerablity.

Take me life, take me,
so there is intimacy beyond limit.
So I can be that intimate, and still live the physical life
Reach in and tear my heart open for our mutual pleasure
Open to all, in the spontaneous not knowing of now.

Now back to work

Beautiful, Sparkle!

Thank You (for posting this)!

I hadn't realized the inherent synergy between this and Shanti's post (that exquisite balance between trust and action).

As they say in the Kabbalah:

"The glory of Hashem (God) fits like a hand in a glove."

I just re-read the part of the Bhagavad Gita where Krishna says to Arjuna:

"I am the powerful Time, instrumental in the destruction of the world I am the impulse that absorbs the world back into myself. Even without your involvement, the warriors arrayed in these opposing armies will cease to exist. Therefore, O skillful Archer, stand up and earn fame. Defeat your enemies and enjoy lordship over the Earth. All these warriors have already been killed by Me, you are simply the instrument."

We are all Arjuna.

We are all Krishna.

From the standpoint of limitation, it is ours to stand up and fight (knowing that even fighting is loving, when it is the slaying of illusions already slayed by Highest Awareness).

From the standpoint of unlimitation .... we are the pure, unborn, unmanifest potential, flowing into each moment as its creation, fulfilling and release.

We are the instrument, we are the musician .... and we are the divine song ... the Bhagavad Gita (hey, those ancient Rishis didn't just pull titles off of shelves, ya know .... ).

Knowledge is Bondage.
(Shiva Sutra 1.2 - Jnanam Bandhah)

Knowing the Not-Knowing Intimately, is Living.

Heart Is Where The AUM Is,

Kirtanman

I very much agree, the synergy is there most definately, although not necessarily apparent at first http://www.aypsite.org/forum/topic....OPIC_ID=5852

Namaste and happy not knowing

Louis....
Thank you for that stark naked poem.....all of it still rings inside.

Reach in and tear my heart open for our mutual pleasure
Open to all, in the spontaneous not knowing of now.
