I prefer to do samyama while laying down. Ill lay down in my bed for a couple of minutes after meditation and then start samyama. I find that laying down I am more comfortable and more relaxed and it goes better for me then in a seated position. Is this ok?

Whatever works for you des022.
Meditation or Samyama is recommended to be done sitting or at least propped up a bit with cushions in my own case neither seem to work very well laying down but hey if thats the best way for you go for it.

Being in the upright position during meditation is preferable. When you are seated upright, prana tends to flow much better to the brain and spine.
