Consider having a routine of Asanas(10min) + Pranayama(10min) + Meditation(20min) + Samyama(15min) + Rest(10min)
Takes a total time of 65 to 70 minutes twice a day. Now assume you're late for work and you need to shorten it to let's say 35 minutes. Which practices would you sacrifice?
HI Emil This is not an uncommon problem see Lesson 18 Finding the Time
When you are really pressed for time you could cut out Asana's and do just the quick session of stretching exercises as described in Yogani's book "Asanas Mudras and Bandas" this comprised
Standing spinal Twist, Abdominal Lift, Standing Back Stretch' Standing Toe touch, and only takes about Two minutes.
Samyama can be cut to about 10 minutes if you just do the basic Sutras if you don't have time for even this and are really in a rush then just do 10 minutes spinal breathing, 20 minutes meditation and 5 minutes rest.
Its all really a matter of intent if your Bhakti is strong then in time you will find the space in your day to do your practices will almost magically appear for you.
