ok this is just stupid idea i have.. It's like i'll call myself the cool samaritan in order to subjectivise myseld and my values and such. it's almost like a neti neti technique. LIke i'll be walkign and say in the third person "the cool samaritan thinks it's a good thing to smile at strangers" or "the cool samaritan always washes his hands after he goes to the bathroom".... i don't think it will be very ego disorienting or anything because it's not like the cool samaritan is "not me" but it's also "not not me"... he's neither. kind of a middle way appraoch...
i can also practice karma yoga like this also, and it will help me not estrange myself from others...
I don't think so. It's always constructive to affirm constructive statements in the mind or otherwise, regardless if they are intended directly to "you" or not. Whatever we affirm will be implanted in our consciousness, and will create opinions and beliefs. These will eventually outplay themselves in our life one way or the other, depending on how strong and consistent our application of affirming them has been. So, we need to watch out also that we don't get into the habit of affirming what we don't want to manifest, because it will work that way as well.
