I have never experienced the state of Samadhi, my questions: is Samadhi similar to a deep sleep but with preserved consciousness?
- Nidra Yoga is similar to Samadhi?
- During Samadhi, can the body fall (lack of control over the body)?

Many Thank You.

Hi Nostalgico

It's very difficult (if not impossible) to describe Samadhi to somebody who has not experienced it.

Best to keep up your meditation practice. Then you will experience Samadhi yourself. Do you meditate? And is your meditation technique effective? Some mediation methods will take you to Samadhi faster than others.

Hi Nostalgico,

In samadhi, the body becomes self-supporting, so will not fall. This is true, even if there is no awareness of the physical realm.

I've been awake during deep sleep. I don't know if that is technically samadhi or not. The next day is pretty wonderful.

thank you for the answers, I am practicing KY, meditating in this way in the first Kriya, is this a good meditation? because you write that they are different, maybe more faster. Yes, I do not know if there is anything more wonderful than kechari in meditation. In my case, it gives me enormous feelings of love and peace.

Hi Nostalgico

We will not be able to advise you on Kriya yoga, we practice AYP here.
We've made our choice and it wouldn't be right to comment on a yoga system we do not practice.

If you'd like to compare your practice with AYP, you can always read through the lessons on this website and draw your own conclusions.
