I know that when most of the people greet someone in the traditional vedic way of saying "Namastey!", they do not know much about the deeper meanings of this greeting that the great Vedas actually meant for this word. But as I have been taught and told repeatedly the definition of the greeting "Namastey!" here in India, I know what the definition says, i.e.,
"I honor the place in you where Spirit lives
I honor the place in you which is
of Love, of Truth, of Light, of Peace,
and where all the Universes reside,
when you are in that place in you,
and I am in that place in me,
then we are One."
, but that is all I know about it. I don't myself understand this definition.
What exactly is this place within us that the great writers were trying to acknowledge and teach other people about?
How can Universes reside within us and how are we all one in that place?

I believe they were talking about something worthy within us all?
If only someone could shed some more light on its meaning or what do you personally interpret its meaning as.

i am only theorizing since i haven't attained enlightenment.

I think that the place within is the Universe. It is our Self, and there's only one of it, meaning that we're many to share the same Self.
