The Seeker And The Egg

A rule… The seeker on our path… The path of knowing the divine Mawla… And realization in eternal Truth… Must know something essential on which he can build all the rest

And it is that ALLAH praise be His name didn’t veil himself from his creation… And if he hid none of them would’ve arrived to him from the beginning

In reality the Truth is fully transfigured… But

The problem is with us… And the veil from us

And just by removing this veil… The distance goes away all together… And Allah would be seen in us.

And human beings might be satisfied just by the knowledge of this without seeing it… And there are people who live their whole life in the grace of faith… But some of them evolve.... And between the two stations there’s a big difference… For the pleasure of the sight and grace.

Allah created for humans tools of perception… We call them the senses… And these senses are tools which connect us with some of the levels and the elements in existence…

And if a dysfunction occurs in any of these senses, the tools… It might stop you entirely or partially from enjoying what is related to these tools in existence

And the sense which concerns us in this subject here, and the method of perceiving which our talk is about.. Is

The heart…

This heart is the mother of all senses..

This heart is the organ which when fixed, the whole body gets fixed

This heart.. Is a tool from the heavenly world… And it’s the window which opens us up to the light of the face of Allah

And this window has been covered with dust, and stained with the mud of the circumstances and days… And ignorance

And from childhood.. She’s been stained from what we learn from people… Until it became completely dark… And from that day the journey of coming back home started

The veil which has covered the heart is the only obstacle between yourself and your Lord

And just by its’ disappearance the distance is gone…

At this point when the seeker awakens to this understanding, he understands directly what is needed from him

That is purifying the heart from the veils… Removing the veils

Here of course… The seeker will search directly for the tools available to remove this veil

Hearts rust, and there clearance is dhikr (remembrance of God)

Because the tool of the seeker on his journey to remove the veils is the dhikr

And the seeker on our path and how we have been taught by our sheikhs, sinks his heart in the water of dhikr and wareds (prayers given to him by his master), until the layers of the veils soften… For if they soften, he works on them with the single name so that It may peal them and disintegrate them…

The harder he works on practicing the dhikr the lesser the veil becomes…

And as we knew that existence is vibrating with the lights of the face of Allah the merciful, and that everything outside the heart is light on light… And therefore as soon as the veil lightens a little… Lights start to come in… Or the seeker starts to sense them from behind the veil

The light of Allah is lights… The light of Allah is one… And there is lights in it… Allah is the light of the heavens and the earth

The lights of hope… The lights of good news… The lights of delight… The moment the veil softens… The lights of longing enter… The lights of yearning… The lights of fear… The lights of sadness… The lights of stillness… The lights of pressure… The lights of ease… Lights within lights

The seeker starts to taste these lights the more the veil softens…

Some, when they taste the lights of delight… They stop from doing the dhikr… And they want to enjoy themselves within that light

But the true seeker doesn’t stop… From digging… From cleaning… From continuous dhikr

With continuous practice and concentration.. The veil of the heart lightens more and more… Which permits for greater and greater lights to enter…

Golden… Or white… All of them from the light of Allah… But they are… Sometimes seen by the eye… When the seeker stops his dhikr… Red… Blue… Yellow… Polluted by the color of the veil…

But it is good news… Good news indeed… Proof that the veil of the heart has been pierced and the lights have started to enter even if by little doses…

The process of digging is exhausting… It might require a lifetime or many to remove the veil entirely…

Especially because of what is in this world from trials and unfavorable circumstances… Which might ruin your work for you as soon as you let go for a day or two… You find the hole has been covered… And the veil has become thick again…

The sheikh in fact is the one who has taught the seeker his practice of dhikr… Here during all our talk we have spoken only about the seeker… And didn’t speak about the sheikh… Which we haven’t forgotten or ignored… His role.. In the drilling process… He gave the seeker a weapon…

The seeker from behind the veil of the heart… Drills… Like he is a little bird still in his egg shell

The seeker… The bird.. Clicks continuously.. Until he breaks through the thick shell of the egg… The veil of the heart..

The sheikh… The father bird… Waits in anticipation when will the seeker break through the shell of the egg…

He waits until there is just a little opening… Just enough trace…

Before that the father bird cannot do anything… Just waiting… And encouraging his son with kind words… And sometimes with threat…
And the moment when the traces of digging appear… The father bird tends with his head and clicks on all the egg shell with his capable beak… Thus it softens and disintegrate and the little bird seeker comes out…

Just the trace of digging was enough for the sheikh to know that the seeker has become strong and has the potential to live once he comes out of his egg… The father bird can break the egg from the beginning… But then the little bird would die…

My sheikh says: I have no discussion with the novice seeker… The novice seeker’s duty is only to do dhikr

Yes, the company of the sheikh behind the veil has no meaning… It isn’t true company…

The company starts after the egg has been broken

Therefore the moment the signs of light appear to the seeker entering from the hole within his veil, he should tell his sheikh… His sheikh won’t be cheap with him and he will break for him the rest of the egg… The rest of the veil…

And lights will enter from all sides and the morning will come up after a long night…

And the soft daybreak… Turns into a shiny morning

That’s when true company with the sheikh starts… And they exchange letters… Talks… He nourishes him… Then He teaches him how to fly

In the sky of absolute light..

In the sky of Allah who is the light of the heavens and the eart.

And your sheikh tells you: Here you are with your God

And so begins walking in Allah

With Allah

..
