I read somewhere that the 'ten thousand' hour thing works for meditation also. So, three hours a day X 365 X nine or ten years and whammo you're there! Or, maybe some combination of same-self-said scenario?

yeah that might be true. dedicated practice over long term never goes waste. it seems the timeline for most people is in decades

during meditation nothing might seem to be happening but there are two ways i feel we can test it

- not being able to do an extra session
- silence in samyama sometimes can tell us if we had a good session
