I've been back and forth for a few years now. I'll meditate and practice yoga for a week or two, with good intentions, then stop. I started reading up on Buddhism again after attending a Unitarian Universalist church recently, and decided I should practice my meditation again, since we do it during service. A friend of mine sent me a chakra meditation and today is the second day I've listened to it. Yesterday, I felt some tingling in my hands. Today, I felt the tingling again, plus some heat and my body was swaying back and forth. It was a pretty awesome feeling. My question is- is this normal?

Yep. I just felt it pulsing in my lower lip while sitting here at work. That was a new spot for me. I've felt it here and there, all over my body. Trickling, tingling, pulsing, vibrating, flowing, dripping, bubbling, prickling, melting. There are many ways to describe it, but it's all energy movement. As long as it feels good, it's normal and OK. If there is too much energy it can feel bad, be consistently distracting, or make you very tired afterward. That's a sign to ease back on your practices.

Why this shall be not normal? It means that your energy got activated and that you are able now to feel it.One of the ways feeling chi or prana. Others e.g. get light sensations.

Bowing back- and forwards is every lama is doing. But here your information is not clear as it could be also like the custumary lama movement a spontaneous movement for balancing your energies.
