Hello all,
I began my twice daily meditations around November 2011 and have continued diligently ever since (well mostly). recently, I have had the most amazing inspiration to read about angels and other higher order beings. My head feels like it is tingling when I sit to meditate and even for hour thereafter. I also have been inspired to paint again, especially angels. I don't feel fear, at least not usually....my typical emotions are love and curiosity. Yesterday, the lights over my head in the kitchen flickered and I felt a sense being protected. Does THAT make sense? As a Clinical Psychologist, I am struggling to "logically" make sense of all this, as this goes beyond my ability to truly reason my way through it. I Guess I am in acceptance mode and just riding what comes this way. I also feel a strong desire to use my training to help, but am still trying to figure out how and in what direction to aim my efforts. Does the tingling in my head mean something? What of this angel inspiration? ( I read a book by Doreen Virtue on Angel Communication as a reasult, and one other book by another author) Any advice? Also, two days ago I also started incorporating samyama practice into pranayama and deep meditation. Thanks, Kelly |

Hello KellyN,
The tingling in your head is probably energy movements - perfectly ok. It is also normal to become attracted to Angels and Higher Beings - they are also attracted to you, now that your light is shining through and you may even get to communicate with them or least be aware of their presence. Exquisite experiences ! But we have to always bear in mind that experiences during meditation is only scenery and we are to favour the mantra (as if!) 
There is a thread somewhere about others who cause light to flicker, maybe someone else can point you to it.

| In the same vein, I've been seeing stunning images while in DM. These are not dreams but rather HD quality (for lack of better words) images. Scenery that is so stunningly clear and amazing that my outer mind immediately kicks in and I come out of it. My wife says I am witnessing a glimpse of the astral world. |
