Hi All
I just want to make sure that I understand what Samyama is.
My understanding:
It is the outward flow of your energy/witness/soul/stillness into the world. By practicing the Samyama technique, you actually manifest the meaning or quality of the sutras in everyday living. By manifesting these sutras you can create all sorts of amazing happenings in accordance with the divine flow of your life whatever that maybe.
Is this correct, can anybody elaborate on this??

Thank you for your time and help

Greetings Markus,
I was taught by a wonderful tennis teacher named Dom from Croatia. Glad to have you here in this global community.

Sounds like you have a solid understanding of samyama to me. Of course, the underlying principle is this: inner silence amplifies subtle thought. Subtle thought and inner silence are best friends. That is why meditation is the precursor. The still-er we are, the more sutra essences will manifest.

Since practicing daily and consistently for about a year-and-a-half now, this certainly has been validated and expressed in my work, family, friends, play, and service.

The Spirit moves, the Spirit, It moves in all things.
