Hello,
Can we tell if the muscle twitches a sign or an awakened Kundalini or awakening one? I know it is one of the early symptoms of Kundalini. I have been having twitches all around my body including on Chakra points last 2.5 years. I just wanted to also ask if it is normal to have it this long?
Thank you

Hey kaserdar :)
yeah should be totally healthy... everyone gets muscle twitches sometimes!
but yeah, my experience has been that muscle twitches increase post k.
in fact, i even experience seizure-like episodes during meditation and sleep, where an outside observer would probably think i was having an epileptic seizure. however, it is not epilepsy but simply a "paralyzation" of the body due to a massive energy discharge up the spine and accompanied by bliss.
so i wouldn't worry about the twitches ;) |

Never had muscle twitches before the kundalini awakening. After it happened I assumed it went away but years later I started having muscle spasms and Im talking about almost constantly it was horrible. Took me a long time to figure out but Im positive that muscle spasms are a sign that you need to be aware, more aware or channel your energy. I still get them but not often, its always because Im not being aware of energy or not aware enough or not channeling it. Once you start paying more attention to the energy or channel it the spasms go away. Ive talked to another guy who started doing meditations where he messes with his energy and he said he started to get muscle spasms too. |

Yes, I haven't had k awakening, but I get muscle twitches that are my body trying to get my attention for a long time. Like if I am lounging on the couch but I should be doing something, my legs start moving on their own, and if I get up and move it goes away.
I don't understand who thinks I should be doing something though, but since it feels better to follow it, maybe my true self or something. |

Hi Kaserdar
I have muscle twitches and to solve them I eat a banana or two. I know it sounds strange, but if your twitching is due to a mineral imbalance then the banana could sort it.

Hello everyone, This is an interesting subject to me since I started having muscle twitches in the mid-90's. I started noticing them whenever I would try to nap. It would always start on the brink of sleep. Twitch, twitch, twitch, mainly my legs. In the late 90's, it started happening during sleep. And then the twitching began happening in my arms as well. It would keep me awake for hours, night after night. Terrible. By the mid 00's, twitching happened not just in naps, and during nightly sleep, but also during periods of sitting still such as at my desk or the movies. I'd go for months twitch-free, and then it would start up again. The worst 'episode' lasted about 6 months at the beginning of '09. I had two sleep disorder tests where I was hooked up to machines and all that, but the doctor, a sleep specialist named Dr. Golbin in Chicago, said the hardware was fine! Just a software problem, i.e., stress.
At my gut level, I believed and agreed stress was the culprit. I began to meditate, albeit rather irregularly, in '08 thanks to Eckhart Tolle. This set me on my path towards meeting my guru at the end of '09. I received Shakti Pat. The twitching stopped immediately and has never returned. The insomnia is also gone - a miracle, truly, or at least it sure feels like a miracle, especially considering many of the circumstances in my life which caused the initial stress have gotten more challenging in the last couple of years.
I don't know if this story will help or not, but I felt compelled to share.
Wishing you well. |
