During SBP I attempt kechari mudra. When SBP practice is finished, I transition to the practice of DM while sometimes continuing with tongue to the roof of the mouth, other times just relaxing tongue to break contact with roof of mouth.
I never read anything in the lessons that detailed tongue placement during DM. Any input from forum is appreciated.

Place it where it feels comfortable. Tongue position, as everything else in meditation, will change over time. But it is not our concern. Let it happen naturally. For now, if it stays at the roof of the mouth, that is fine, if it relaxes that is fine too. Just go with whatever happens naturally and does not distract you.

Hi,
The tongue normally sit's with the tip behind the upper teeth, where you would pronounce'L'.This will complete the energy circuit that the mouth opening causes.
