Has anyone noticed a change in the way animals or insects respond to them? I suspect it is revelant to a "clearer aura".

Last saturday, I was having a drink at friends' late afternoon. We were sitting at a table under the veranda, open-air. I suddenly noticed a whole line of ants, carrying their eggs, displacing. I pointed them out to my friends and following their path, I was astonished to find that they had gathered by the hundreds at my feet ! Although there were food crumbs on the floor, they were simply ignoring those. I was careful not to move for an hour to give them a chance to move on. That is just one episode.

A couple of weeks back I saw a green lizard on my living-room wall. They are absolutely beautiful, bright green or turquoise in colour with specks of gold on them and pretty common in Seychelles. They are however very timid and will dash off as soon as you approach them. Well, this one stayed quite still and let me stroke his back (carefully with a finger)!

And dogs seem to love me. Sorry folks, I am not a big fan of dogs but they just keep following me around. Birds.. I had a long relationship with a robin redbreast (wild). Well, he was wild at first but then he took to ambushing me from the top of trees; he would swoop down unexpectedly and zoom across my head, scaring me and flying off laughing. We got to be best friends.

So anyone noticing a different relationship with animals after starting meditation?

I read on this website http://www.kundaliniawakeningsystems1.com that animals and children feel the kundalini energy. It might be true. I was just sitting and resting at a park the other day. A pigeon came very close to me and sat with closed eye, totally ignored her never ending food search:)

Some animals are really smart.

I remember a few years ago I was in South Africa and this Lioness (inside a big cage) started playing with me. I ran along the cage and she followed me. I ran to and fro several times and she ran along like a pet dog. I was so surprised and happy with this.

Then suddenly the Lion (who was resting in the same cage) roared at her and she went back to him. It was like the Lion told him to quit playing games and come back and scratch his back.

And like kaserdar, it has happened with me several times that while sitting in a park, a bird or a dog would come and sit by my side with their eyes closed. Sometimes a pair of butterflies would come and start hovering around me while I am walking.

Animals are so innocent.

once in Rishikesh....Elie a friend of mine and myself went to Vashishtha Guha (Cave) and near it was a small primitive ashram...also there is a huge Banyan tree it is like one hour drive by car...
...anyway after we finished visiting the cave and the huts...the dogs (4 or 5) escorted us all the way up to the main road, the dogs were happily wagging their tails, running around us....etc...the dogs made sure that we are reached our car and that we are safe and sound...also after our car moved...they remained watching us until we were so far...

Hi,

It's interesting you should talk about robins! I've also become very bird friendly - a couple of magpies come to visit regularly (always together), and on any given day there's usually a squirrel or a woodpecker turning up to say hi. What I've noticed is that recently I have become highly attuned to birdsong. I can hear birdsong, often in indoor environments that I would never have been aware of before. It's like someone has turned their volume up.

My robin friend is very curious - he likes to pop round when I'm doing qi gong (I'm new to AYP, having come from a qi gong background). A few weeks ago he followed me while I did my taiji form. He hopped around whenever I changed direction, as if to study what I was doing. Then he flew straight into the house and hung out for a little while.

I think all this is quite normal. They sense what's going on better than we do half the time.

Hi Sey,

cool thread, nice experiences

I had a couple of things happening lately like that. last week when coming home there was a frog on the stairs leading to my house. I took a pic of her with my cell phone but the pic came out with her being too small, so I put my cell phone quite close to her (with flash) and took a pic and she didn't budge. After I put the cell phone away she continued on her way and I walked home.

A second encounter like this was a few days ago I was walking home and on the way there was a really really tiny frog on the sidewalk (I think I should mension that I have not seen a frog around where I live or even in my city for years maybe, maybe I did once but a long time ago). I stopped and looked at her and she stopped too. There was a guy walking behind me and looked at me kinda thinking "why have you stopped and look down?" I said "look a frog" and when we both looked where she was I saw nothing, I couldn't focus where she was, and it seemed like he also didn't see her, so I said "she is really tiny", and he gave up and continued on his way talking in the cell phone with someone. And, when I looked back to where she was, there she was I put my cell phone close and took her pic, it was like she modelled for me, I put back the cell phone and she continued and I walked away. I love her really nice of her to give me this opportunity.

What was really intriguing was that when looking with the other guy her energy was like invisible, like cats do when theres a dog walking by amazing
