I've been reading about mindfulness recently, all about distractions during meditation and hindrances, how come ayp doesn't go into more depth about these things during meditation.
I feel that learning the basics of mindfulness has taken me deeper and i can use it all the while - today i was able to be mindful of the development of a distraction and the formation of the distracting thought and then the destruction of it.
I haven't managed to do that with deep meditation yet, I seem to have hindrances associated with my deep meditation that AYP does not address?
Does Yoga go into much more depth about thoughts regarding the mantra whilst saying it?
