a christian mantra, latin. I've found it very powerful and resonates with my christian roots (I think)

i am still coming to terms with it's effect.

I've found a reference to kundalini yoga on a website talking about this mantra.

I'm not sure if it has awakened my kundalini but it certainly feels so good.

I am sometimes in the witness state no and it happens when i'm stressed or feeling pain, but only slight so i believe i'm getting closer.

Hi Joe,

You may find another level of encouragement in your use of Maranatha as a mantra through the World Community of Christian Meditation. After reading your post, I watched this video about the technique by the leader of WCCM, Lawrence Freedman. Excellent instruction.

Over the years I have had a number of significant interactions with WCCM, and have found them very helpful. I have seen Freedman in a video dialog with Thomas Keating, and at the conclusion of a month in a Buddhist monastery, together with my host at the monastery, I sat with him in person in Bangkok in a seminar he led on Buddhist Christian dialog.

Thank you for your sharing. For me personally, it was timely for me to recall the teachings of Christian Meditation.

Peace,

Be
