I got a small problem I guess.

I have been practicing Mula bandha and maha bandha for 3 weeks (in Siddhasana) also observing brahmacharya. Nowadays I get the feeling of urination often and need to go rest room. Is there anything wrong I am doing or in the initial stages will be like this?

Can someone give me a solution or workaround for this?
thanks

Hi gnanamoorthy:

This is covered in an addition to Lesson T13 in the AYP Easy Lessons Vol 1 book:

"As ecstatic conductivity (kundalini) awakens deep in the urinary neuro-biology, there can be periods of sensitivity that bring a need for more frequent urination. It is a situation that comes and goes during the beginning and intermediate stages of awakening, and gradually diminishes as the spiritual transformation in the nervous system advances toward fruition. This can be experienced by both women and men."

This too shall pass. Self-pace your practice as needed.

Wishing you all the best on your path. Enjoy!

The guru is in you.

PS: If any symptom becomes chronic (constant and long lasting), then getting it checked out medically will be a good idea.
