Hi all,
I just restarted my AYP practices again lately, after also having attended a Chinese Zen retreat May this year in the UK.

I do the 5 min SBP and then 10 min DM. Sometimes during DM I forget the mantra and cannot find it. Later I refind it again. Also sometimes I find myself repeating something else.

When you find youself off the mantra then just gently return to it. Nice and easy does it.

Hi Karl,
Thanks for the reply. That's what I'm trying, only sometimes I cannot find it... Anyhow, I'm not bothered by it, only find it curious. After a few instants the mantra reappears again.

Totally normal when you start or re-start practise losing the Mantra happens a lot and so does the symptom of repeating something completely different. It's all about purification apparently, although I don't really bother with the explanation just folow the instruction and it all seems to work out.
