A friend of mine has PCOS and some diffuse problems, imbaløances and oftentimes pain in the stomach and genital area. I am considering recomending her to do Nauli as it is suposed to be good for problems of those areas. She practices yoga 1-2 hours almost every day and has started meditating daily on the breath just recently so I am thinking she has the general development/purification covered enough to add a specific and powerfull practice. If anyone with knowledge or experience have any comments or inputs about this it would be much apreaciated.

Sounds worth trying, I suppose she's already familiar with self pacing. Start with full-size Uddiyana bandha/Uddiyana kria, then side nauli, then rolling nauli.
Perhaps a midwife teaching yoga and pregnancy yoga would be the best advisor. You might ask http://www.atmajyoti.se if some of theirs has any Norwegian colleague, or maybe have her answer your Q. directly. Their pages also refer to E. Connolly, http://www.yogafarm.co.uk/ .

I'm qite sure some of the founders and driving forces of: www.yoga.no
were doctors but I don't remember any specialities.

You might also click things like Pregnancy, Infertility, or Menopause on http://www.yogajournal.com/poses/fi...peutic_focus

There are many ways of stimulating the abdomen/lower abdomen. For ex., swapping the Crow/Crane (Kakkasana/Bakasana) for the Peacock (Mayurasana) with fingers pointing backward, elbows close to each other pressing into the abdomen; a powerful detox but a bit invasive, as the weight of the entire body lies on the abdomen, so she better check such postures with a medical expert.

An almost universal ayurvedic herb for the female system is fenugreek ( = bockhornsklöver), see for ex. http://www.nzhealth.net.nz/herbs/fenugreek.shtml

My 2 cents
