The first general question I have for anyone that knows what works best for mosquito bites/repel. Just to walk outside for three minutes I get bitten several times. The backyard has two creeks, one at the very end and one at the side. The general area is woodsy and humid. They are unbearable.

I have tried OFF. which does not work.

I am using a natural geraniol oil/geranium oil but the scent is so strong I get a headache.

Recommendations for sraying the yard with something that will repel--

can't even begin to really state what a complete nuisance these are.

just washing windows last evening I was bit all over the legs. I could not have been out more than 10 minutes.

I have to mow the lawn and I need to garden and weed which I enjoy.

I wear long pants mostly to work and long sleeves, but the temperature is pretty toasty.

Does anyone here deal with this better?

Citronella oil....mixed with baby oil spread over the skin...

We have an outbreak of dengue in the tropics here....so we use that before we go to bed......populate the creek with some fishes they'll eat out the larvae

You can try eating food rich in Vitamin B1 or taking B1 supplement.
Don't know if it works for everyone, and you should research for dosages and other info, or better consult an specialist.
