A masterpiece by the Legend Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan:

Man Kunto Maula
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3uaSHOfpUZc

Can you feel how he is gathering his energy/chi and transforming it into his Raga?

His hands move like a Shaolin monk but he is focusing the Chi towards his throat.

Here is another demonstration of the power of Chi by Nusrat:

nusrat lost in qawwali (A must see!!)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T8JuNTLBEeo

So this is basically what happens when a Shaolin monk transforms Chi to perform Martial arts / Kung Fu.

Nusrat is using the same energy to intensify his Raga.

Raga are notes (unstruck sounds/notes, the voice of God) that created Matter and Consciousness.

These are primal building blocks of life, the Code that created this entire Universe, which sustains it and will destroy it as well.

Like Om..... the Sa Sa... Re... Ni Ni.... as being sung by Nusrat. Its energy in its original/primal form.

I have sung them myself during my meditation without any training.

Here is Nusrat with Peter Gabriel, Joan Osborne, Tony Rich, Gloria Estefan and Natalie Merchant in 'In your eyes' live: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3eq2st8e_IQ

Enjoy!

The most beautiful song I ever heard in my life.

part 1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b3HU4neM7bo

part 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b3P80bkt3xg

I wanted to translate it but its worth learning Hindi and then listening it to enjoy its richness.

You can leave my hand and go away... but how will you run away from my heart?

From the moment Radha and Shyam looked into each other's eyes... Radha became Shyam and Shyam became Radha.

Prem ke rang me aisi doobi... ban gaya ek hi roop...

I am dancing
