The Silence is Roaring

It is 4:30 am
And the silence is roaring

Constantly swelling
Like a great nude pause

The kind that enlivens
All music

The sun
Is breaching the eastern clouds

The streets are full
Of carlessness

A seagull gracefully gliding
In tandem with it’s tummy in the sea

Stena Line passes by
Between Howth and Dun Laoghaire

Like a movie
Of no sound

It is 4:37 am
And the silence is roaring

Lore from heaven I am
