Bharat Ek Khoj (Discovery of India), a TV serial that aired when I was 10. I loved its beginning and end track. Found them on youtube again after 20 years.
This is what pushed me into the journey of discovering my self.
The Truth did not exist before the creation came into existence Neither did untruth exist There was neither space The sky too was not present What was hidden? Where? Who had covered it? At that moment Neither the unmoving vast ocean existed
Who is the creator of this universe? Is that even a doer or non-doer? Living in the high skies He always remains the witness Only that knows the truth Or maybe he does not No one really knows
That was the Hiranya womb ever present before all things came That is the great lord of all the elements That is the presence through which the land and the skies materialize Which God like that should we worship and by offering what?
The skies are lit with its strength The earth is established with greenery and prosperity Heavens and Sun are also established Which God like that should we worship and by offering what?
It materialized fire in its womb to give birth There was water here and there and up and below Out of which only life awoke Which God like that should we worship and by offering what?
I just read that an extended version was played only in the Final episode of Bharat Ek Khoj. The additional lines were:
There was neither death Nor birth of the souls There was neither day, nor night There was no Air either, but only Breath in its original form!
There was nothing separate from the Primal / source Neither existed anything beyond it
Om Came first into existense as the seed It awakened by becoming desire The Saints and intelligent persons realise it The relation between the Truth and Untruth

In the first relation - Hiranya... below, Primal source Above and below It was sitting in the form of both male and female.
