WOW.

Happy tears in my eyes.

Happy goose-flesh on my arms.

Loopy grin on my face.

Ohhhh ..... Yeahhhhh ....... This Is The Real Deal.

Some random dude in Michigan ........ who can write a song like this one, and put it on YouTube .... for the rest of us to ..... celebrate .... along with him.

This is officially my new favorite song.

For Now.

And Now.

And NOW.

Wholeheartedly,

Kirtanman

PS- And if you're not catching the "hidden meaning" in the song ...... if "random dude in Michigan" can sing of reality like this ..... so can any of the rest of us (after All .... there's only One .... ).

Found the lyrics ......

Be Here Now

Everything’s because of you and the things you do, my beloved
Yeah everything is flowing fine as we dance beyond rhyme, my beloved
You calmed the storm inside of me and now I’m free, my beloved
So now I let the battle go and watch you run the show, my beloved

All I want to do is sing of the joy you bring, my beloved
Praying that these songs awaken those who feel forsaken, my beloved

Sisters, surrender all the judgment and the blame
Brothers, surrender all your stories and your shame
Lovers, surrender the demons that you’re trying to tame
And be here now

Every day I feel your grace as it fills this space, my beloved

I opened up my soul to you and how the love exploded through, my beloved

Now here we are this human art streaming from one heart, my beloved
Illuminated by your sun here we now become, my beloved

Mothers, surrender tomorrow and all the times you’ve cried
Fathers, surrender and release the joy that you hide
Children, surrender what you think it should be and now you arrive
And be here now

Now, be with me, be with all of us, our beloved

Angels, surrender tomorrow and all the times you’ve tried
Devils, surrender and release the love that you have inside
Everybody, surrender what you think it should be and now you arrive
And be here now

VIDEO: (Song) Be Here Now

**

Per my first post in this thread, there's something about this song, and this singer, which resonated with me, beyond what the "surface song" (as awesome as it is) could account for. I detected a certain .... something ... lessness .... in RDFM (Random Dude From Michigan) .. a depth exceeding the utter innocent joy and freedom which emanates from this wonderful song and video. I'm very happy and grateful that he took the time to write the song, and to make the video.

PPS- And I found it all to be a bit more wonderful, a bit more profound, a bit more moving ..... by ... I don't know ... a million times, or so .... actually, maybe more like two million times ..... when I learned that Richard Schooping (aka RDFM - Random Dude From Michigan) is, technically-speaking .... dying of AIDS (as he describes in his book "From Suffering To Soaring" - available via his website, or from Amazon).

*That's* the Somethinglessness I felt:

Richard is Living (Unbound) in the infinite freedom I've been yammering on about here, for some time now.

Is it really possible to be *that* free?

Oh, yes it is.

As I've said before: there's a reason people have been dedicating their lives to this stuff (yoga, spiritual practices, enlightenment, liberation) for thousands of years, you know.

It may take a few years of daily practices, and it will take the releasing of everything we've ever believed about ourselves, or anyone or anything else. It will involve the full-facing of all of the hellish subconscious detritus that illusion has suppressed in and as our body-mind, which will arise off and on, unexpectedly, for up to several years (but probably not quite that long).

As Adyashanti has said: "It's the most fun you can have while being burned at the stake."

Several years??

Is it worth it??

Per this beautiful song and video we're discussing, and per Richard Schooping himself ........... it's only worth everything.

Living Unbound in reality is equally available for us all, because Living Unbound is what we each and all ever actually are, now -- the beauty of reality may simply be hidden by the cloud-cover of the misperception called "me".

How to dissolves the cloud-cover?

It's as easy as 1, 2, 3 ......

1. Just Let Go
2. Just Jump In
3. (Daily) Practices, Practices, Practices .........

Wholeheartedly,

Kirtanman

"Through LOVE I overcame AIDS and now I sing."
