so today when meditating, as usual thoughts come and go. One that sticks out was when I experienced the thought "God is greater then dawg" as in dawg the bounty hunter. its funny, i mean where does that come from? I guess it is just creativity or something like that. scenery yes, anyone have any off the wall stuff that your just like, what kind of nonsense is that |

I get stuff like this all the time. Sometimes visually, sometimes audibly, sometimes only in thought forms. I posted a topic when I first came to AYP (or not long after) about "TV in DM" because I thought maybe I was intercepting television channels in my meditations because some of the stuff I was hearing/seeing etc was "from WAAAAAYYY out in left field".....certainly not stuff I would be saying to myself, nor stuff I was purposely visualizing. I really don't know what this is, nor do I care anymore, it is just another "distraction" and a good reminder to begin favoring the mantra again.
Just thought I would let you know that you aren't the only one...

Yeah man, I watched a little TV myself tonight. I have even witnessed a conversation with me and my dad before. Intercepting TV channels, thats funny. Yep, distraction/scenery. now back to our regularly scheduled program, iii aaaammmm iii aaamm.. ii ....

Hey, I get that too... mostly thoughts or conversations in my head which are "not mine". I get smells too. Not necessarily during DM but after. I had not really identified it as "scenery" from DM practices, but if you guys are experiencing this too, then it must be.
