Hi all,
Sutra 2.38:
When walking in the awareness of the highest reality (brahmacharya) is firmly established, then a great strength, capacity, or vitality (virya) is acquired. (brahmacharya pratisthayam virya labhah)
Swamij says:
brahmacharya = walking in awareness of the highest reality, absolute reality, remembering the divine,
The question is, how to have awareness of the highest reality all day long?, do you need to use mantra's or some other technique?

Hi Amdor, "walking in the awareness of the highest reality" is a natural function of a nervous system that is purified to a high degree. For most of us this means practicing daily for a period of time. In this way we're steadily purifying the nervous system, so that we can live in this awareness all the time. It is not complicated :)
It's best to start with twice-daily meditation, for example the one we use in AYP: http://www.aypsite.org/13.html ... and from there on, you can practice more and clean the nervous system with more intensity. It's up to you.
Take care. |
