dear board,

about 6 months ago, after about nine months of kundalini intensity, as i had been in the throws of my second major awakening and working with a trusted guide, he suddenly left and my progress seemed to come to a sudden halt. i assumed my awakening was over.

i went into a depression. i couldn't feel much energy of any kind. it was deep.

i didn't do too much of anything, just got deeper and deeper into the depression,

now, i started taking 5htp (seratonin) and questioning everything. feeling better, fortunately.

realizing maybe i stopped processing too soon. maybe it's time to start moving energy again.

maybe it ended or maybe i just shut down myself too fast. i don't know.

i think the 5 htp is a good thing.

i will start doing spinal breathing, i want to feel more again.
do awakenings just stop like that? my last one didn't. it went on for years.

i am glad i ordered the book on ayp.
thanks, open to suggestions.

i would love to get back into the warmth and energy.

Hi Beachgirl,

Sorry to hear about your problems.

In my experience pretty much anything can happen with kundalini, including the sudden loss of symptoms and depression. It is good to become well established in meditation, if you are not already, because the peace of inner stillness helps to weather the storms of the highs and lows that come with the awakening of ecstasy.

Spinal Breathing is a very useful practice for awakening kundalini gradually and safely (as you probably guessed), so you are on the right track.

Christi
