Instead of big numbers here are pictures of the furthest we can look into the Universe...a seemingly empty spot full of light...
Humbling.

I am playing Mass Effect on my PC from last few weeks.
Another benefit of being human I guess
The game teaches us a lot of things that help us meditate. You are thrown into the likely to be future, travel across the universe, become a game character which is unreal at the first place... but when you are into it, feels so much real that you forget yourself.
Its awesome!! I recommend everyone at AYP to play it just for fun's sake if nothing at all.

Love that video. The Hubble has to be one of the greatest invention in history. I don't if you've seen this video yet, but I think the implications are pretty mind blowing as well. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uyXVCggV6EU |

Thanks for the link Steven, quite interesting (you just have to remove the last > to watch it Etherfish).
All this is mind-blowing indeed. The "size" of the Universe, parallel universes, dark matter, black holes leading into white holes...amazing stuff.
Right now I was specially intrigued by the idea of paralell universes or dimensions. Like he said "it is right here in our living rooms". :) I mean, here where we stand there must be countless dimensions as layers of reality, interpenetrating one another yet in perfect balance. |
