Some observations of the last little while, looking at familiar things from different angles.
Most of us humans spend a lot of time observing reality through our senses and making closed minded limited conclusions about what we have observed. The input of information from our sensory organs provides us at best with "snap shots", like still photos of scenes in life and from those scenes, we often formulate conclusions which become beliefs.
Any belief we have is limiting to ourselves and the greater reality which in essence is one and the same. As we limit our inherent infinite nature, it hurts. limiting beliefs constantly search for proof to be validated. Limiting beliefs need lots of reinforcement to be maintained. We practice being limited body/minds and hence the illusion of life begins.
Yoga and meditation practices are the great undoing of untold repetitions of practice being limited.
Reality is a vast ocean of constant movement and change. Any attempt to define it will at best only ever offer a lifeless and limited conclusion. It is a vast flowing sea of every combination and permutation.
When a person shares their perspective of reality with you, it is only a snap shot or series of snap shots about what they personally observe from their unique perspective and can never be complete. If their observations are about you and it causes you emotional pain, there is likely a limiting belief they have touched upon within your body/mind. How can anything anyone ever says to you be your truth when it is just a glimpse and a guess at best?
When we inquire into a limiting belief we open it to a greater reality and find freedom again ceasing the pain of limitation or definition.
From individual perspective, we are the exclusive independent observers of our own life. We know the truth about ourselves and any observations or feedback from others are based on limited information over finite periods of time. The truth is we are at times what they see, perhaps, but also the opposite at other times too.
If we observe and listen carefully, mind constantly offers and provides a beautiful pure reflection of our beliefs. Mind presents information that is perpetually witnessed. If someone says something and it hurts, we can be sure there is a finite, limiting belief lurking under the surface in the body/mind. The belief can be something we fear might or might not be true. Freedom when we realize that we are both all and none of the above and the below, all and none of the accusations and denials and that all of it just Is.... and none of it true
an open mind -to view the infinite
