Out of the unreal world
to escape for a while,
in serenity.
Wild colour expresses through
late summer flowers,
with small faces smiling
on the edges of the wood.
I love to watch the stream flow
from the deep, dark shelter
of the old trees,
and listen to the sound
that surrounds me,
and then emerging from within,
the water, the birds, the trees.
But what I love most,
is taking it home with me,
time after time.
