Welcome to the forums! What exactly do you mean by impregnated? Broadly speaking, tantra creates bonds on several levels in parallell - especially if both of you even have spiritual reasons for practicing. The effects on her are both because of the holding back and because of the other sexual techniques that can be used instead, to smooth male and female energy out.

Hi Lover:
Effective tantric practice (holdback and blocking) may reduce the chance of conception, but it would not be as reliable as other methods of birth control.

hello,
Thnx guys... Glad to read from you.. To Yogani and others: This is regarding brahmacharya.. I've read that ejaculating once every 2 weeks is not such a big deal in Yoga..specially if the kundalini is not yet active, right? So,assuming comparing the two situations of two men practicing AYP in which they are both neophytes and have exactly the same obstructions in their nervous system, almost in everything but only differ in the frequency of ejaculating. That is,the first man ejaculate every two weeks while the other one ejaculate only once a year. My question is,who among them has a better spiritual perspective?

Hi Lover:
With two men the same in their nature, purification and practices, their need for sexual release will be the same. If one forced celibacy and the other did not, the first would find distortion and delay on their path, while the other would not, assuming the latter favored tantric techniques. Things are rarely what they seem in this business. Much better to go with the flow while favoring practices without forcing. Change occurs by consistent favoring over time, not by forcing.
Celibacy is only the right answer when it is the right answer. The rest of the time, it isn't. So the exhortations for celibacy for everyone are a lot of hot air. This error is common prior to the rise of inner silence, ecstatic conductivity and stillness in action. When the times are right for sexual continence, it will come without any fanfare. It is more about process than choice. If we choose the process, the outcome will be assured according to the characteristics of our unique unfolding.
In AYP, we do not define brahmacharya as celibacy. We define it as favoring preservation and cultivation of sexual energy with effective techniques in whatever sexual lifestyle one is living. That also includes during times of celibacy when it occurs naturally. See here: http://www.aypsite.org/T9.html
All the best on your path!
The guru is in you.
