Link to the Academic Journal (Eye of the Heart) containing excellent PDF articles on various yogic/esoteric symbolism-related topics.

EYE OF THE HEART is described as:
"A scholarly, peer-reviewed journal providing a forum for the exploration of the great philosophical and religious traditions. It addresses the inner meaning of philosophy and religion through elucidations of metaphysical, cosmological, and soteriological principles, and through a penetration of the forms preserved in each religious tradition."
Very helpful in understanding how the mind and consciousness actually work.

(Article: The Symbolism of Marriage and the Marriage of Symbolism is 25 pages; more of a mini-ebook than an article.)
Excellent overview regarding the symbolism of marriage (and the marriage of symbolism), the geometrical depictions of unitive consciousness in the sacred symbolism of the world (including the six-pointed double-triangle known as the Star of David in the Judaic tradition, and the Satkona in Tantric traditions, the point-line-circle depiction of unitive-blended-diverse consciousness, the ying yang symbol, and the Vesica Piscis).
Basically, all the stuff I've been saying about Kabbalah, mystical Christianity, Tantric Hinduism & Buddhism, Taoism, etc. ... all containing equivalent symbolic maps of consciousness .... is outlined brilliantly in this article, by a professional academic:
Tom Bree is a geometer/artist, musician, teacher and writer. He studied geometry at The Prince’s School of Traditional Arts, London, under Professor Keith Critchlow and Paul Marchant. Tom teaches for the Prince’s School in the UK and abroad, as well as his own teaching projects. He lives in the City of Wells in Somerset with his wife Helen who is a stained glass conservator.
