In Buddhism I have come across reference to the preservation of the three energies, which are, Sexual, Breath and Spirit.
We are familiar with the cultivation and preservation of the sexual energy here and may also be familiar with the others.(even though I don't personally have an active kundalini)
Personally the energy in the breath is very beautiful for me. It is sometimes referred to as the "sweet breath" or the "beautiful breath". To me it feels like breath imbued with prana. So the preservation of this seems like a good plan.
I am puzzled by the energy of the "spirit" though. Does anyone know what this is and how it is manifest?
Thanks in advance |

hi sparkle i think that one is bhakti "spiritual desire", and the best ways to cultivate it are by reading spiritual scriptures and being arround spiritual company and practicing prayer and deep meditation cz when we experience some of that sweet bliss conciousness and inner silence then we're hooked and we'll keep on wanting and asking for more...
now concerning the preservation of sexual energy, i personnaly think that this might change by time to a very less extent.
check out this new post of mine, and let's wait and hear the opinion of the peops arround the website on the subject and ofcourse yours are welcomed: http://www.aypsite.org/forum/topic....OPIC_ID=5140

Hi Ananda Yes Bhakti makes sense as Spirit energy, never though of that
Regarding your other post, I would not reply to that since I have not experienced a kundalini awakening (although I have experienced kundalini for certain periods, but not an awakening and not ongoing)
