The following link is to a youtube video which is the first in a series containing a radio interview with Michael A. Cremo, a historian and a science philosopher. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KaY9...ture=related

He discusses anomalous archeological evidence for extreme human antiquity which raises questions about the orthodox theory of human origin. He also proposes his own theory of human origin which is closely related to Vedic scriptures. He says he believes our origins are spiritual and not material and that some kind of spiritual practice is required to return to that state. So that's the yoga connection right there.

I looked him up on wikipedia and found that its pretty hostile towards him but the above youtube videos provide a sharp contrast to the wiki article.

I am considering obtaining some of his books which seem very informative and the reviews are quite detailed and positive. Is anybody else interested in this subject or know anything about it?

hi Chiron, in relation to your subject read this book it's a good read both for your bhakti plus it's good food for thought.

That book is truly amazing =) Together with Yogananda's, it's hard not to be 100% into it.
