I`m wondering if moving from your core/dan tien is a part of Iyengar yoga. Whenever I have an Iyengar class this does not seem to be emphasized, however it is such a tehcnicaly precise yoga that I can`t see how it could be in disagreement with al dance theory, Pilates and every martial art about moving from the center.
