Yogis are doing 6-8 hours meditation >5 minute breath retention in pranayama. How ??????
i watch one Shaolin clip. In this clip one old man >85 year is doing index finger handstand. this man had not been sleeping since 17 years. Only doing Meditation in night i think >6 hour???????? Is it possible????????
I read book "Autobiography of Yogi". In this they also says thess things like doing Lahiri Mahasaya meditation up to may houres. "Advaita Vedanta" Swami Vivekananda they also sit up to many houres during meditation.Basically he describe 3 types of pranayama in "Raja Yoga".They said also about >3.5 min breath retention for uttam Pranayama. Swami Sivananda in his one book describe 3 types of yoga practitioner. Beginner 15 min asana 15 min Pranayama two time 30 min meditation Intermediate 15 min asana 30 min Pranayama two time 60 min meditation
Advance 30 min asana 60 min Pranayama three time 120 min meditation
