Hi, Just trying to squeeze the most out of my tantric practices. My question here is: Which one of the following factors can make a session of tantric sex/masturbation more efficient/beneficial:
a) Spending a longer time in an aroused state. b) getting as close to the orgasm as possible before applying the holdback technique. c) Having a higher number of hold backs in a session. d) Having a higher number of strokes before applying the holdback technique. e) Applying the holdback technique before getting too close to the orgam. f) Using mental images and sexual fantasies. |

Hi, I'd say g) - remember that ultimately it's about staying in front of the orgasm all the time. So the best sessions for me are those which don't end with an orgasm (or ejaculation, of course). The most important part is plateauing, I think. You go to progressively higher and higher levels of arousal, but never over the top and such a "session" can - if you don't drain yourself - extend to several days or more.
So no matter how you get there, in the end it's all preorgasmic... how much fun you want to have with fantasies and high-level sexual ecstasy is up to you :)
If you self-pace in arousing yourself (which is holding back) you won't need the perrineum press or other techniques to physically block emission. So for me the answer is a) stay before orgasm as long as possible, plateau to higher levels and have fun :) |

This forum is very quick in helping us realize when we are too mindy! I'm prone to get the same silent response, and often I have come back to thank everyone for their silence. That's the greatest pointer you can get!
We all have our own ways, and you will have to find what's best for you!
All the best, emc |
