Here's an interesting video clip of Yogi Bhajan speaking about mantra meditation:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zDQEWgwQ2tk

Interesting what he says about not having dreams. If A-U-M represents the syllables of the waking, dreaming and deep-sleep states, does this mean he lives in a world of 'A-M'?...

Thanks Tallis.
Love what he says about the ego.. It is almost exactly how I have experienced it.. "when the ego will block your identity, you have to chase everything. When your ego will open up the shutters, the universe will serve you".

It's so wonderful to hear others say the same things using different words. The words are what us at the human mind level can perceive, but if you hear without your mind translating for you, almost all the enlightened souls say the same thing and teach the same thing.. how to live in, what we call in AYP, your inner silence.

Hi Shanti,
Yes, there's some good stuff about the ego in there. I also like what he says about the ego being a shield which doesn't let anything 'in or out.'
