i have been experiencing tremors in my hands and nerves that seem to go along with feeling strong energy currents. This increases especially during times of experiencing greater energy with a lover or at times or increased intensity of awareness. Is this a common manifestaion of yoga kundalini or are my nerves simply weakening with age or stress? It feels like a good tremor associated with ecstatic conductivity to a strong degree but I wonder if it is a common occurance. any others feeling this?

Victor,

I have the same experience that you describe. It appears to be friction associated with kundalini flow. I have often thought that my nerves were frying. I have learned to control the intensity with diet. Too much caffeine can wreak havoc on my system. I try and stick to a very basic diet of non processed foods and eat mainly organic. My body does not respond well to junk food, pollution etc.

I have found that if I am going to progress spiritually, I have to keep my body as pure as possible. Otherwise, I am treading into some potentially unpleasant waters.

I am not suggesting that your diet isn't sufficient. This is just how my situation is. It appears to be some sort of purification process. The energy never seems to go away. It is just more controlled and pleasant when I take care of myself.

With Peace,
Paul
