[I'm guessing my last post on this was removed because I didn't describe it properly and just posted the links so here goes another attempt.]
I've found that the description of Howard Storm's NDE matches alot with buddhist and yogic philosophy ie. multiple dimensions, different worlds and intelligent species in the universe etc... Personally I don't find many Christian reverends like this so I think maybe some of you will find this interesting.
"Before his near-death experience, Rev. Howard Storm, a Professor of Art at Northern Kentucky University, was not a very pleasant man. He was an avowed atheist and was hostile to every form of religion and those who practiced it. He often would use rage to control everyone around him and he didn't find joy in anything. Anything that wasn't seen, touched, or felt, he had no faith in. He knew with certainty that the material world was the full extent of everything that was. He considered all belief systems associated with religion to be fantasies for people to deceive themselves with. Beyond what science said, there was nothing else.
On June 1, 1985, at the age of 38, Howard Storm had a near-death experience due to a perforation of the stomach and his life was forever changed. His near-death experience is one of the most profound, if not the most profound, afterlife experience I have ever documented. His life was so immensely changed after his near-death experience that he resigned as a professor and devoted his time to attending the United Theological Seminary to become a United Church of Christ minister. The following is the account of Pastor Howard Storm's near-death experience, which is an excerpt from his book, My Descent Into Death, reprinted by permission.

Hi Chiron,
Thanks for posting these amazing videos. I have personally experienced most of what this guy talks about in the nature of Heaven video. It is amazing to see someone talking about this, also from what is obveously his own direct experience. As for the rest, it seems a bit Christian... but maybee the people he was being shown things by on the higher dimensions were themselves Christians, and so had a slightly biased worldview .
Or maybe the Christians got it right all along.
Thanks again
Christi

I saw the future of the world video but this guy's forecast of the future world after 200 years seemed a bit of an exaggeration. I mean how does he see the transition from megapolises to huts with 0 technology in 200 years only. Are big and small cities in which such a big % of the population lives just going to be abandoned and start to rust or what. |

Or maybe it was just presented to him in a context he could understand and relate to and in a way it would be most beneficial for those who he would likely share his experiences with?
I don't know either, but it is an interesting question!
