sorry for the excess posting..

ok so i'm having trouble finding an "ideal" to surrender to... i have a bunch of poeple that inspire me, mainly osho, ramana, and nisargadatta.. then there's ofcourse yogani :), and now robert adams from the itsnotreal web site... i love all these poeple, but as an ideal that i can really surrender to and pray too it seems that i can't make up my mind.... then i just think "why can't everything be my ideal?" just simply everything and anything.. total and complete acceptance of evertying.. how about that??

Surrender can't be taken on as a practice. You will only be fooling yourself into thinking that you're surrendering, when you aren't. The truth is that surrender can only happen when you've lost all of your control. There aren't multiple selves; you can't micromanage yourself. There's only one you, and for that reason, no possible way to practice giving up. It must be 100% honest to be actual surrendering.

Can you accept everything as it is? Even the fact that you aren't able to accept everything?

Hi Eddy,
I would suggest that you stop trying so hard.
The more you try to use your mind to understand your mind.. the more confused you get. Just ease into your practice and everything will make sense to you.. and the important thing is.. once it makes sense.. don't hold on to it.. because as you move further along.. your perceptions will change.. just go with the change.. it is so much easier that way...
Surrender.. not a concept to be grasped by the mind.. but felt in the heart.
