Hi All,

During the more than 20 years that AYP has been in development and assisting thousands on their spiritual path, the forum has gone through several stages of community interaction.

In the early days, the forum was wide open, leading to extensive interaction across the lines of many traditions, all archived here. As time went by, and with multiple traditions being discussed, it became increasingly difficult to offer clear support to those using the AYP online lessons and books for their practice.

In an effort to maintain clarity on what is AYP related support and what is not, we created this "Other Systems" forum category, and also a "Kundalini Issues not related to AYP" category, in the hope of separating AYP support discussions from the many other things being discussed. It worked well for a while, but eventually endless debates were occurring in Other Systems, often overflowing into the AYP support discussions. This was especially true of Kriya Yoga, with its multiple competing branches. Moderation became difficult.

So, finally, about 10 years ago, we began limiting discussions in the forums to AYP support only, with kundalini support continuing for anyone, and some other systems discussions permitted if related to the AYP system in some way.

In the 10 years since, the AYP system has matured, with the writings, books, training courses, retreats and teacher training having expanded and becoming well established.

At this time there is a level of comfort opening up and welcoming discussions on other systems of practice again, in this forum category. I think we can handle the diversity of discussions and opinions on practice much better now than in the past. So feel free to chime in!

Be sure to review the Introduction to the Other Systems forum category and the Main Forum Navigation and Posting Guidelines.

Thank you, and wishing you all the best on your chosen path!

The guru is in you.
