During this auspicious period of Navaratri, I am happy to share the english translation of my book on khecari mudra. It is first of all my witnessing and the detailed account of my personal experience of the divine mudra, that I am learning from the mouth of the Goddess. It is illustrated by quotations from traditional texts illustrating my experience, showing that this mudra is very well and precisely documented.
As Ramakrishna perfectly summarises, "When the divine goddess comes up, the tongue rolls back". This is basically what happened to me after a few years of hatha yoga practice: my tongue wanted to go higher than what was physically possible by this time, which was really painful -- the desire of Sakti was strong enough that she wanted to go further up, to meet her cosmic lover. After freeing my tongue from its frenum began a wonderful inner trip : finding lalana chakra, tasting amrita, activating ajna, accessing sahasrara, falling into extatic bahkti... Link to the PDF is given at : https://www.facebook.com/khecharimudra/
Any comments, feedback welcome; both on the experimental part and the scriptural references (am trying to compile any references to khecari; on this the work by J. Mallinson has been very helpful, a real blessing). HariBol !

Thank you, Maheshwar for sharing.
I'm looking forward to reading the book. The depiction of Kali in the facebook is brilliant!

Thanks for your interest ! do u refer to the coverpage of the book ? not Kali but Vajrayogini, tantric goddess of tibetan Buddhism; let say she might be the "cousin" of Kali ! all the best, Mahe |

Thanks Maheshwar! Oh I see, is Vajrayogini the same as Aria Tara (Green Tara)?
All the best |

Hi Maheshwar,
The picture of Kali I was referring to is on the fourth post.
I'm enjoying reading your personal journey in the book. It's written from the heart.
Wishing you the best on your path. |
